As a teenager, Helen's painting was hung in the prestigious Wynne Prize. She holds a degree in art education and applied science and has studied at universities in Italy and Vienna.
Her love of nature inspires Helen's work of the unique Australian landscape and its birds, as well as many varieties of eucalypt and other native plants.
In 2002 Helen was awarded a Gold Medal by the Royal Horticultural Society of London for her botanical paintings of eucalypts.
Widely represented in Australian and overseas collections, she has also had 10 successful solo exhibitions. In addition Helen has illustrated 5 books on Australian flora and fauna and has had work published in Australian Artist, The Artist's Palette, The Journal of the Garden Clubs of Australia and the Wildlife Australia magazine.
