Karina Griffin

As a plant scientist, specializing in agriculture, I love learning about plant systems and am fascinated by how they interact with each other and different species in the environment. Artistically I love their form, structure and colour. I am constantly amazed by adaptations made by plants to fill a unique niche in the environment.

I have always been artistic and did art throughout school. I began teaching myself botanical drawing in 2016 and pursue it as a hobby. All my works are in pencil as I enjoy the portability of this medium.
