A three day contemporary botanic workshop with mutli-award-winning artist Beverly Allen
This 3 day workshop will focus on the techniques for portraying different textures in botanical painting. Shiny or velvety, pitted or smooth, spiky or crinkly; fruits come in many textures, (as do all plants). Build your watercolour skills with demonstrations of techniques from initial washes to dry brush detail and through individual instruction with an emphasis on the observation of light and colour to create texture and form. Suitable for intermediate to advanced students, or those with drawing skills and experience in other media.
