Born in Switzerland into an
art-loving family, Sue moved to Sydney in her early 30's.
After extended studies,
raising a family and low-key painterly activities, Sue's passion for more
sustained artistic expression was reignited in 1998 by the Shirley
Sherwood Exhibition of
Contemporary Botanical Art and the Ferdinand Bauer Exhibition in Sydney.
Studies and masterclasses with inspired and inspiring teachers followed.
Sue has participated
successfully in group exhibitions since 1999 (Botanica since 2001) and been
awarded several prizes for her work.
