Ruth has been studying Botanical Art for the past 3 years with
international artist and tutor Leonie Norton.
She has exhibited at the Botanical Art Society of Australia's exhibition and will be exhibiting at the Canberra Botanical 2005 exhibition.
Originally she trained as a Showcard and Ticket Writer and taught at TAFE for 13 years before studying drawing at the Julian Ashton Art School. Her art studies also included pastels and watercolour.
Ruth won the Logo competition for Hazelhurst Regional Art Gallery in Gymea and has been exhibited there as Artist of the Month.
