Sophie Gordevich |
Sophie Gordevich is a self-taught watercolour artist residing in the Perth Hills. She was so inspired and in awe of the unique and beautiful wildflowers that surround the Perth Hills, she began to teach herself to draw and paint in her back yard. In just one year Sophie is now an accomplished artist and has set up ‘Nature of the Hills’ selling prints and original artwork online and at markets, as well as at Zanthorrea Nursery, Perth. She is a finalist in the Melville Art Prize 2022. Her work is bold and detailed, attempting to capture every leaf vein and imperfection. Sophie hopes to progress in her art career and become a professional botanical artist and illustrator. | Website: |
