From childhood Sue has always loved plants and animals, and a strong interest in art. It wasn’t until she moved from Sydney to Tasmania in 2004, having purchased a vineyard that she discovered Botanical art and watercolour painting through adult education. Since then she has continued to paint and develop her skills, exhibiting in Tasmania and interstate, including the prestigious ‘Botanica’ held annually at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney. Sue has won awards for her work in Tasmania, and her work is held in private collections in Australia and New Zealand. Sue is a member of the Botanical Art Society of Australia, and the Sydney Florilegium. |
