Victoria Morris

Victoria was born in London in 1956 and grew up in the UK.

She has always been fascinated by the natural world.

From the age of 13 onwards, Victoria wanted to work with metal. She qualified at Middlesex University as a Designer Silversmith and also trained as a Printmaker (etchings) with John Brunsdon.

Victoria ran her own Print Editioning Studio in a 17th century Almshouse at Great Linford Manor, Milton Keynes, in her twenties, printing editions for many UK artists as well as Christies Fine Arts and Albion Editions.

After marrying, she returned to freelance silversmithing, working to commission from home in the Cotswold’s. Her husband retired and bought a home near Melbourne for them to spend the winter months, as they both loved Australia.

When her husband died in 2009, Victoria took up Botanic art at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne and just loved the whole process of learning new techniques with which to express her interest in nature and helped by superb tutoring (Dianne Emery).

Combined with her silversmithing and etching experience she is now able to really enjoy 2D and 3D designing and creating, drawing and painting, wherever she is, and finds it very satisfying.
