A four-day art class in the Royal Botanic Garden
Shiny, smooth, velvety, flat, fuzzy, puckered, plain; leaves come in many shapes and sizes and all shades of green. Join internationally acclaimed contemporary botanical artist Beverly Allen for a slow and thoughtful approach to leaves of all sorts, focusing on the close observation, accurate drawing, and colour subtleties required to bring this unassuming subject to life. This watercolour class is suitable for students with some drawing experience. Includes lunches in the beautiful surrounds of the Botanic Gardens About the tutor: Beverly Allen Beverly worked as a graphic designer and illustrator, before moving to botanical art in 1997.
