Anna will give examples of the main morphological groups of fungi and explain the difference in their morphology and ecology. She will demonstrate different watercolour techniques that can be used in botanical art and explain the difference in materials and styles.
Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Ecology, and a PhD in Botany, she is a professional scientist, scientific illustrator, botanical artist and wildlife illustrator. She currently resides in Sydney and works on a restoration of critically endangered plant communities. Since 2019 Anna has taught botanical and wildlife art for the NatureArt Lab in Canberra combining art and science in her tuition.
