Kate Nolan is a well-known botanical art teacher with the Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne.
She will look at the different types of vellum which can be used for botanical artwork, and the techniques one uses to do so. She will demonstrate painting on vellum and talk about how to avoid some of the common problems.
Materials: The usual watercolour paints and brushes. If you have some vellum you can use that to practice on.
