Enjoy the beauty and challenges of botanical art, with a subject of your choice. Explore pencil and watercolour techniques, including the principles of tone, highlights, composition and perspective. Explore the principles of mixing, layering and glazing of colours as well as other techniques. Work at your own pace. This course is suitable for all levels of ability. Develop new skills or extend existing skills.
Leonie Norton is Sydney's most prominent, highly qualified and experienced botanical art educator. She is highly regarded in her field and exhibits regularly in Australia and overseas, where her paintings can be found in public and private collections.
