Flora 2023 Perth

The first BASA exhibition to be held in Perth, at the Holmes à Court Gallery, 10 Douglas St, West Perth, from 2 September to 14 October 2023 (open Tuesday to Saturday, closed Sunday, Monday each week).

Entry was open to all BASA members with their artworks being exhibited along with botanical artworks from the Janet Holmes à Court private collection and other works. 

The Madeleine Taylor Award for Best in Show was shared by 

Beverly Allen for her “Mudgee roadside” and

Melinda Edstein for her Anigozanthos rufus - kangaroo paw

Honourable mentions were awarded to 

Harriet O'Donnell - Cordia sebestena - broad leaf Geiger tree

Anastasia Maximova - Rhizophora stylosa

Carolyn Murdoch - Eucalyptus erythrocorys
