Sooka Kim |
Sooka was born in South Korea. Her love for art started when she had been Tole painter as a hobby over a long period of time. Sooka has won several top placements from The Royal Easter Show in the Decorative art section. She has a very keen eye when it comes to making crafts and this is a skill learnt from her father who was a craftsman by trade. After she had been exposed to the Botanical Art Exhibition in Sydney Royal Botanic Garden, she was very interested and decided to learn Botanical Art. She is always looking to improve and started to learn online course with a few different teachers in 2015 Sooka has been a member of BASA since 2017 and been a participant of the group exhibition a few times.
