Judith Tobin (nee Brown) was born in Wollongong, NSW, Australia and moved with her family to America. She obtained her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois, USA then moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA where several exhibitions resulted in work going to many private collections.

Judith returned to Australia in 2008 where she resides and works in Valla, NSW.
