Joanna Thomas is a local artist and has always had a love of drawing and art making, which led to her earlier career teaching Visual Art for nearly 20 years. During that time she also found her passion for plants and trained as a qualified Horticulturist.

After starting her family and moving from Brisbane to Berry, Joanna rediscovered her love for drawing and now combines her two passions for art and plants, by producing highly detailed black and white graphite images.

Joanna is a regular attending member of the Bowral Botanical Artist Group and a member of the Botanical Art Society of Australia.
