Klincic Andrews, Ana

I am a social performance specialist with love for art and science. I spent many, many years working and living in Asia and Africa supporting communities. Today, I happily live in Hobart, Tasmania. I started to self- teach botanical art drawing in January 2021. There was no plan to do so - it just happened. I am an absolute beginner with an open heart, curiosity and determination. I am loving every moment of discovering botanical art and artists. I learn through books, observations, tutorials and by trial and error.

Lilum 'Orange Pixie'

Lilum 'Orange Pixie'

$100

Coloured pencil

270 x 220 mm

This small drawing is a work of a beginner botanical artist. It is a study of Lilium 'Orange Pixie'. Lilies often symbolise pure love and devotion.  It took numerous sketches and trials to get it “right”. Getting it “right” is work in progress! The artist lives in Hobart. She started learning botanical art drawing in January 2021. When not learning botanical art, Ana works as social performance specialist helping businesses do right by communities. This orange pixie is dedicated to her husband Harry.
